OMICSENS

The first nano-photonic integrated omics bio-sensor revolutionizing Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) diagnostics and prognosis.

Our Goals

Goal 1

Improve non-small cell lung cancer prognosis by ensuring a timely and accurate detection of Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor resistance through the creation of the first nano photonic integrated biosensor.

Goal 2

Create a nanochip with embedded surface of high absorbance to specific analytes, ready to be used in the hospitals and recycled.

Goal 3

Create within a unique nano-chip a coupling of a source and detector. The detector will be metamaterial-based with optimized quantum efficiency and AI algorithms will enable precise analyte quantification.

Goal 4

Couple the nano sensor to a microfluidics system to deliver the sample in way to create a ready use technology.

Goal 5

Create an innovative platform, easily customizable, that could be used to optimize treatment of different types of cancer.

A radically new omics measurement platform

OMICSENS aims to develop a radically new omics measurement platform that would be initially applied to improve non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) prognosis by ensuring a timely and accurate detection of Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI) resistance associated to Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) mutations.
